Q Haven Schedule Updated

The Q Haven BBQ team has finally settled on a schedule for the rest of the competition season.  We will be cooking at the Harpoon New England BBQ Championship in July, the Hudson Valley Ribfest in August, and the Blues, Views and BBQ, a new contest that will be held in Westport, CT in September.  Visit the "Events" link above for more details.

Great Two Years

It's now been almost two years since we started competing in BBQ contests, and it's been a pretty successful first two years!  The picture to the right is the awards we have compiled since that first competition in May of 2006 in Rhode Island.

The Norwich, Connecticut based, award winning Q Haven BBQ team was formed in 2006 and competes in BBQ cookoffs in the northeast states.  The pit boss is Ted Lorson, with the rest of the team consisting of Ted's wife Sheila, and his brother Cristiaan Lorson along with an assortment of occasional helpers.
